Egypt's Software Testing Day: Shaping the Future with AI

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), through its Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC), is organizing the fourth edition of "Software Testing Day." This exciting event will take place tomorrow, Monday, May 11th, at the Digital Egypt Innovation Center in Giza. It's held under the patronage of the Egyptian Software Testing Board (ESTB) and is part of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) conference network. This year's event is themed "Shaping the Future of Software Testing in the Age of AI," highlighting how Artificial Intelligence technologies are reshaping software testing processes. This focus aims to improve the quality of digital products and boost the competitiveness of the Egyptian software industry in international markets. The event aims to provide a platform for sharing expertise and showcasing international best practices in software testing. It also supports software developers and testing specialists, helping them enhance their skills according to the latest global standards, with participation from a select group of experts, practitioners, and innovators from various countries. The activities will include engaging discussion panels and live presentations by Egyptian and international experts, exploring the future of software testing, automation, and smart analytics. There will also be a dedicated competition to showcase innovative ideas, from initial prototypes to fully functional software solutions, designed to tackle real-world challenges in software testing. Organizing this event reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and ITIDA to support the growth of Egypt's software industry. It aims to enhance its regional and global competitiveness, which will, in turn, boost digital exports and help build a digital economy driven by knowledge and technology. The Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC), established in 2001, serves as ITIDA's technical and knowledge arm. It is an internationally accredited body that provides technical consulting and accreditation services to software companies, helping them improve the efficiency of their software development processes and enabling them to apply global standards in software engineering.
