Meet the 13 Innovative Startups Joining EdVentures and Mastercard Foundation's EdTech Fellowship in Egypt

EdVentures, the investment arm of Nahdet Misr Group, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation through its Centre for Innovative Teaching and Learning, announced the launch of the third cohort of the "Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship" program in Egypt. This cohort includes 13 growth-stage startups, bringing the total number of companies supported by the program to 36 across three consecutive cohorts. The Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship is an entrepreneurship acceleration program designed to support promising African EdTech companies. It provides a comprehensive ecosystem of institutional and financial support, specialized mentorship, and access to knowledge and expertise related to learning sciences. This empowers participating companies to scale, achieve sustainability, and maximize their societal impact. The third cohort in Egypt features 13 startups working in diverse fields, including artificial intelligence, health education, early childhood learning, workforce readiness, women's economic empowerment, social and emotional learning, and accessible education for people with disabilities. It also includes solutions that connect education with employment opportunities, contributing to building a more inclusive educational system ready for future demands.
