Egyptian teams achieved a remarkable feat at the Huawei ICT Competition Global Finals, held in Shenzhen, China. They proudly secured two Grand Prizes in the Computing and Cloud categories, along with a first-place finish in the Innovation track and a second-place finish in the Network track. Dr. Mohamed Maher, from the Faculty of Information Systems and Computer Science at 6 October University, also won the "Most Valuable Instructor" award globally. This incredible achievement truly highlights the excellence of Egyptian talent and their ability to compete and win top international awards in both technology and education. Egypt walked away with five prestigious international awards, making it one of only eight countries worldwide to receive a Grand Prize in the competition's tenth edition. This really shows Egypt's growing importance as a regional and international hub for digital talent and innovation.
