Egypt's New 'Business Clinic' Offers Direct Help to Startups with Government Challenges

Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, and with representatives from the Egyptian Tax Authority, the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, and the General Authority for Industrial Development, the Egypt Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (EEIC) is organizing the first 'Business Clinic' event tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16, 2026. This initiative aims to provide direct and practical solutions to the challenges startups face when dealing with government entities.

This initiative is part of the state's efforts to boost the entrepreneurship environment and improve the investment climate. It does this by creating direct and effective communication channels between startups and relevant government bodies. This will help speed up work processes and address operational and regulatory hurdles that entrepreneurs might encounter during their growth and expansion phases.

The 'Business Clinic' meetings are scheduled to be held regularly. This will allow startups to present their challenges and discuss them directly with representatives from the relevant government authorities. The goal is to find practical solutions that support business sustainability and enhance these companies' ability to grow and compete.

The Business Clinic

The 'Business Clinic' is one of the specialized initiatives launched by the Egypt Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center. It offers practical consultations and direct diagnosis of challenges faced by entrepreneurs and project owners. This helps them develop their business models and transform their innovative ideas into successful, growth-oriented economic entities.
