The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) has announced the launch of a new digital platform for economic performance sector services. This platform will serve as a unified hub, offering specialized technical services to investors as part of Egypt's broader efforts to boost digital transformation in its investment sector. The platform aims to make services easier to access, improve efficiency, and speed up procedures. Its services will include financial structure adjustments, valuations, feasibility studies, and measuring investment costs. GAFI explained that the first phase will begin by accepting requests for financial structure adjustment services through the digital platform, running alongside the traditional paper-based submission system. This is a preparatory step for a full transition to an electronic submission system, following the approved digital transformation plan. This approach ensures continuous service delivery without interruption and aims to enhance the investor experience. This launch marks a significant stride towards digitizing investment services in Egypt. It will help accelerate decision-making and create a more transparent and efficient environment for both local and foreign investors.
