Free Practical Workshop: Build AI Projects in Egypt (Online & In-Person)

Get ready! Tomorrow, Thursday, there's a practical session all about building Artificial Intelligence projects. It's titled "Tips & Tricks in Building AI Projects" and kicks off at 12:30 PM. You can join in person at the Information Technology Institute, located within the Digital Egypt Innovation Center (Creativa) in Tanta. Or, if you prefer, you can participate online via Zoom.

This session comes at a time when interest in AI applications is really booming. The focus isn't just on knowing which tools exist anymore; it's shifted to understanding how to pick the right tool, when to use it, and how to build a complete system that works efficiently in real-world situations.

The session will feature Engineer Mohamed El-Qablawy, an AI Engineer specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) at Q-Tech. Mohamed brings a wealth of experience in developing practical AI solutions, as well as designing and improving Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to boost application accuracy and efficiency.

The workshop will cover several hands-on topics. These include: knowing when to use AI Agents and when they're not needed, how to choose the best technical architecture for each project, common mistakes developers often make, and how to improve language model performance by writing professional prompts. You'll also learn to understand the real limitations of these models before you even start building.

This session is perfect for students, developers, and anyone keen on building practical AI projects. The goal is to share real-world experiences and insights from the job market, helping participants avoid common pitfalls and speed up the development of truly workable projects.
