Egypt's MSMEDA Teams Up with Universities to Spark Youth Entrepreneurship

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) is really committed to working closely with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. They're expanding their partnerships with Egyptian universities to spread a culture of self-employment among graduates and help them set up productive projects. These projects are super important for supporting comprehensive and sustainable economic development plans. This effort is all part of MSMEDA's crucial role in building young people's skills, backing their innovative entrepreneurial ideas, and turning those ideas into viable projects that create real, lasting job opportunities. As part of this, Basil Rahmy, MSMEDA's CEO, met with the 'Rekaz' student initiative team. These are final-year students from Cairo University's Faculty of Mass Communication who are focused on promoting self-employment among youth and encouraging them to start small and micro-enterprises, especially in manufacturing. This aligns perfectly with the initiative's vision that Egyptian industry is the 'Rekaz' (pillar/foundation) of economic development.
