Arab region startups kept attracting significant investments during the first half of 2026! The top 10 investment deals alone exceeded a whopping $915 million in total value. This really shows that investors are still super keen on sectors like FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, PropTech (real estate technology), logistics, and quick commerce.
The UAE Takes the Lion's Share of Deals
The UAE topped the list for the biggest investment deals, securing 6 out of the 10 largest transactions. Leading the pack was a $250 million funding round led by BlueFive Capital for CargoX, a company specializing in delivery services using self-driving vehicles.
Coming in second was another $230 million funding round, also led by BlueFive Capital, this time for the Islamic finance platform, Mal. Property Finder, a PropTech company, secured the third spot with a $170 million investment led by Mubadala Investment.
The list also featured a Series A funding round of $60 million for CNTXT AI, led by ai71 and BlueFive Capital. Additionally, Origen Technology, an AI company, received a strategic investment of $50 million from BlueFive Capital. And let's not forget Stake, a digital real estate investment platform, which closed a Series B round of $31 million led by Emirates NBD.
