UAE's Yalla Group Reports $342 Million Revenue in 2025, Boosted by User Growth and AI

Yalla Group Limited, based in the United Arab Emirates, has just shared its unaudited financial results for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, along with its fourth-quarter results for the same year. These figures show strong financial performance, highlighting the company's continued growth in the digital entertainment and social media markets across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Group Revenue Highlights

According to the company's financial statements, Yalla Group's revenue for 2025 reached approximately 1.256 billion UAE Dirhams, which is about $341.9 million. What's even better is that net income grew by a solid 10.4%, hitting 543.9 million Dirhams (around $148.1 million). This is up from 492.9 million Dirhams ($134.2 million) in 2024, showing a consistent improvement in the group's financial health.

Digital Entertainment Performance

Looking at the quarterly performance, the company reported revenues of 308.1 million Dirhams ($83.9 million) for the fourth quarter of 2025. This compares to 333.4 million Dirhams ($90.8 million) during the same period last year. Despite this slight dip, the company continues to maintain strong operational levels in the digital entertainment sector.

Net Profit Growth

The group also saw its net profit grow in the last quarter of the year. Net income increased by 6.2% to reach 126.7 million Dirhams ($34.5 million). The net profit margin stood at an impressive 41.2%, while the non-GAAP net profit margin was even higher at about 43.9%.

When it comes to its user base, the group's platforms continued to show remarkable growth. The average number of monthly active users (MAUs) increased by 8.2% year-over-year, reaching 44.8 million users during the fourth quarter of 2025.

Growing User Base

Additionally, the number of paying users across the group's social media and gaming platforms reached approximately 10.4 million users.

Commenting on these results, Yang Tao, the Founder, CEO, and Chairman of Yalla Group, mentioned that the company achieved strong performance in 2025. He attributed this success to the growing user base and the continuous development of their digital products.

He also explained that the group is actively working on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into its services and products. This integration helps boost operational efficiency and speeds up innovation within the company.

Embracing Advanced Technologies

He pointed out that adopting advanced technologies has also supported the company's strategy to develop products that meet the needs of local markets in the region. This, in turn, enhances the user experience across its social media and gaming platforms.

Saifi Ismail, President of Yalla Group Limited, also affirmed that the financial results from the past year truly show the strength of their business model and their ability to achieve sustainable growth in the digital entertainment sector. He highlighted that the 10.4% increase in net income reflects the improved efficiency of the group's financial and operational performance.

The Entertainment Market

Looking ahead, Yalla Group plans to keep investing in advanced digital technologies and expand its range of services and interactive platforms. This strategy aims to further strengthen its presence in the growing digital entertainment market across the Middle East and North Africa.
