The UAE-based company Ouinex, which specializes in developing digital asset and multi-asset derivatives trading platforms, has successfully raised its total funding to $9 million. This follows its recent achievement of collecting $3.5 million in an equity funding round, which was entirely driven and funded by its user community.
This funding round adopted a truly unconventional model, with participation coming from a vibrant community of over 10,000 individual and professional traders. Notably, there was no involvement from venture capital funds or institutional investors, strongly emphasizing the company's commitment to community-driven funding as a key engine for its growth and expansion.
Ouinex plans to direct this new funding towards strengthening its regulatory presence in various markets across different continents, expanding its legal licenses, and preparing for the exciting launch of its digital token platform, 'Ouinex Launchpad,' as a core part of its global expansion strategy.
The company is led by an experienced executive management team, including Elias Larabi, CEO, and Samuel Rondeau, Head of Trading and Strategy. Ouinex is actively developing a global trading platform that seamlessly combines digital assets with traditional financial markets, utilizing a unique execution model called 'No-CLOB.'
This innovative 'No-CLOB' model aims to significantly reduce market manipulation practices, such as front-running and stop-loss hunting, by keeping order books hidden from market makers. This clever approach allows for the trading of spot cryptocurrencies, perpetual contracts, forex, and equity derivatives, all while using digital assets as collateral within a single, unified account.
Ouinex originally launched its platform in December 2025. Since then, it has seen impressive growth, surpassing 40,000 downloads and attracting over 10,000 monthly active users. The company has also successfully sold 65 million units of its digital token, '$OUIX,' to its dedicated user community, all in preparation for the highly anticipated public launch during the second quarter of 2026.
