Thunder company has announced the launch of its new product, "Thunder Gold." This exciting new offering lets users invest in 24-carat gold completely digitally, with the ability to buy and sell starting from just EGP 100. This announcement came during the company's "Keynote" conference, where they revealed their latest products and expansion plans. Ahmed Al-Qassed, Product Manager at Thunder, explained that this product was launched to tackle common challenges people face when investing in gold. These challenges include varying prices among dealers, high manufacturing costs, storage risks, and sometimes needing a large amount of capital to buy a decent quantity. He clarified that "Thunder Gold" allows users to track the official gold price in real-time. It also features a clear and transparent fee structure: just 1% for buying and 1% for selling, with absolutely no extra or hidden costs. Al-Qassed added that the platform makes buying and selling easy and available 24/7 through the app, so there's no need to visit jewelry stores. He also mentioned that the gold is securely stored in vaults belonging to Egy Cash, a company affiliated with the Central Bank of Egypt. He emphasized that the product complies with Islamic Sharia principles and is overseen by a specialized committee. This boosts customer trust and provides a flexible, transparent investment tool for anyone looking to invest in gold. In related news, Ahmed Hamouda, Founder and CEO of Thunder, revealed that total investments by Egyptians through the platform have now exceeded EGP 50 billion. He stressed that this impressive figure shows the growing confidence of individual investors in Thunder and in the Egyptian financial market overall. Hamouda added that these investments represent the savings and financial goals of thousands of users who chose to direct part of their income towards investing. He reaffirmed Thunder's commitment to continuously updating investors on its operations and future plans, which helps boost transparency and keeps pace with the platform's rapid growth.
