Thunder CEO Ahmed Hamouda Clarifies Investment Platform's Mission and Impressive Growth in Egypt

Ahmed Hamouda, co-founder and CEO of Thunder Investment Services, confirmed that the company is fully supervised by Egypt's Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA). He emphasized that Thunder is not a financing company and doesn't offer consumer loans for buying goods. Instead, it's an investment platform designed to empower citizens to invest their savings through licensed and secure channels. This clarification came during a phone interview Hamouda had with TV host Amr Adib on the program "El Hekaya" (The Story) on MBC Masr. It was a response to earlier statements made by banker Hisham Ezz El Arab regarding how financial platforms operate.
