Telecom Egypt has clarified recent rumors about potentially converting its data center complex into a cash-generating asset, confirming that there are no new developments or official decisions on this matter at present. The company emphasized its commitment to transparency and managing sensitive financial information, stating it will inform the Egyptian Exchange and shareholders of any significant developments as soon as they occur. At the same time, the company announced a record increase in its annual profits, reaching 22.58 billion Egyptian Pounds last year, compared to approximately 10.1 billion Egyptian Pounds in 2024. Its consolidated operating revenues also grew to 106.67 billion Egyptian Pounds, up from 81.67 billion Egyptian Pounds in the previous year, marking significant growth in both operational and financial performance.
