Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aal, Chairman of Tashyeed Misr Group, recently commented on the group's investment in ARRW. He emphasized that the decision to invest came after a thorough study of Egypt's smart transportation market and a search for technical solutions that could benefit the group's projects. Mohamed Abdel Aal shared on his Facebook account that the idea of getting to know ARRW began while they were looking for an application to provide smart transportation services within Tashyeed Misr's projects. He added that this Egyptian company offers solutions and technologies that rival those provided by major international companies operating in this field. He explained that the group didn't hesitate to invest in ARRW after studying the market. He pointed out that the decision wasn't based solely on numbers and studies, but also on a strong desire to support an Egyptian company working in a sector largely dominated by foreign companies, even though all elements of the system are entirely within the Egyptian market. He added, "The car is in Egypt, the captain is Egyptian, and the passenger is Egyptian, but the management and control often come from outside Egypt, as if we are incapable of creating technology ourselves." He expressed his pride that ARRW is the first licensed national Egyptian company working to develop, operate, and innovate smart transportation solutions, capable of competing with global brands. Mohamed Abdel Aal extended his thanks to Mohamed Nagaty, Ahmed Taalab, and the ARRW team, praising what he described as their creative efforts leading the company in the smart transportation sector. Earlier, Egyptian entrepreneur Mohamed Aboul Naga announced that ARRW had secured a $4 million investment from Tashyeed Misr. This move aims to support ARRW's expansion plans and strengthen its presence in Egypt's smart transportation market. Mohamed Aboul Naga stated that ARRW, which positions itself as the first licensed ride-sharing platform in Egypt, is working to develop a technology-driven transportation system tailored to the nature of Egyptian cities. He clarified that the new investment reflects investors' confidence in the company's vision and the technologies it is developing. He added that the funding will be directed towards supporting several key areas within the platform. These include expanding the driver network, enhancing technical capabilities, and improving user experience. He noted that the number of ARRW platform users has already exceeded 200,000.
