Talabat Egypt and San3 El Kheir Partner to Boost Ramadan Food Security Through Tech and Community Support

Talabat Egypt, a leading e-commerce platform in the MENA region, has announced a partnership with San3 El Kheir Foundation for Development. Together, they're launching a Ramadan initiative to provide Iftar meals to families most in need, aiming to support around 500 individuals daily and boost food security for the most vulnerable during the holy month. This initiative is a key part of Talabat Egypt's commitment to corporate social responsibility. It includes organizing a special Ramadan charity meal (Ma'edet Rahman) in Gharbia Governorate, ensuring continuous and regular food support for beneficiaries. The program is being carried out with the help of San3 El Kheir Foundation's teams and volunteers from Talabat's own staff. This collaborative effort ensures that meals reach those who need them most efficiently and in an organized way, highlighting the important humanitarian role the platform plays. This initiative truly reflects Talabat Egypt's vision to create a positive impact within communities. They're focusing on supporting the needs of the poorest families during seasons when living expenses tend to rise. It also aligns perfectly with the government's efforts to strengthen the social protection system and reinforce values of mutual support and community solidarity. Commenting on this, Hadeer Shalaby, Vice President and CEO of Talabat Egypt, shared, "We believe that real societal impact isn't achieved through individual efforts alone. It comes from effective partnerships that bring together the expertise of the private sector and civil society organizations. With this in mind, we're dedicated to using our capabilities and extensive network to create initiatives that can reach diverse communities and achieve a tangible, lasting impact." From his side, Dr. Mostafa Zamzam, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for San3 El Kheir Foundation for Development, confirmed that the foundation aims to distribute two million meals this Ramadan through various partnerships across different governorates in Egypt. Dr. Zamzam added that this collaboration with Talabat Egypt marks a new chapter in promoting values of mutual support and solidarity, and in strengthening the social protection system.
