Snoonu Launches 'Startup Factory' to Boost New Businesses, Kicks Off with Investment in SUFRA AI for Smart Restaurant Tech

Snoonu, a Qatari company specializing in e-commerce and delivery services, has announced the launch of its "Snoonu Startup Factory" initiative. This program aims to support and empower entrepreneurs and startups in Qatar and the wider region by offering funding, mentorship, and opportunities for market expansion. This move is part of Snoonu's broader strategy to build a comprehensive ecosystem that fosters innovation. The initiative focuses on incubating early-stage startups and providing them with an environment where they can grow and develop scalable solutions. As one of its first steps, Snoonu announced a pre-seed investment of $100,000 in SUFRA AI, a Qatari startup. SUFRA AI is dedicated to developing artificial intelligence-powered solutions for the restaurant sector. They offer smart menus that provide an interactive experience for customers, including digital browsing, personalized recommendations, and the ability to order, customize, and pay directly from their phones. The platform also provides restaurants with instant analytics on customer behavior and spending patterns. This helps businesses improve user experience and boost sales, with a goal of increasing the average order value by 20% to 30%. Hamad Al-Hajri, Founder and CEO of Snoonu, shared that this initiative represents an investment in innovative ideas and entrepreneurs across the region. He emphasized that the company's philosophy is built on supporting local innovation and enabling founders to transform their ideas into successful, scalable ventures. The Startup Factory initiative aims to provide funding, mentorship, and market support for early-stage startups, thereby strengthening Qatar's entrepreneurship ecosystem. Its main operations will be based at Snoonu's new headquarters, "Snoonu Technology Park."
