SILQ Lands $20 Million Investment to Power SME Finance in Saudi Arabia

FinTech companies in Saudi Arabia continue to attract new investments, driven by the rapid growth in embedded financial services and increasing demand for digital financing solutions aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This trend is supported by initiatives that promote financial inclusion and ease access to funding. Saudi platform SILQ, which specializes in B2B e-commerce solutions and embedded financial services, announced it has secured $20 million in Sharia-compliant structured financing from Gemcorp Capital. This funding aims to expand embedded financial services through SILQ's Fina platform, with a focus on invoice financing and trade financing solutions for SMEs in the Kingdom, which are a vital engine of the Saudi economy. SILQ serves over 50,000 companies in Saudi Arabia through its Sary and Fina platforms, providing an integrated ecosystem that combines purchasing, payment, financing, and business operations management all on one digital platform. Since the beginning of 2026, SILQ's ecosystem has successfully facilitated B2B transactions exceeding 10 billion Saudi Riyals, reflecting the rapid growth in the use of digital trade and financing solutions. The company affirmed that the new financing structure aligns with its strategy to broaden financial inclusion and provide integrated financing solutions that meet the needs of SMEs in Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries, thereby supporting their business growth and enhancing their capacity for expansion.
