Saudi AI Startup Velents Joins Global Claude Network, a Landmark for the Arab Region

In a move that highlights the growing presence of Arab companies on the global AI map, Velents, a company specializing in developing enterprise AI solutions for the recruitment sector, has successfully become the first tech company from Saudi Arabia and the Arab world to officially join the global Claude partner network. This network is part of Anthropic, one of the world's leading companies in developing advanced AI models. This achievement reveals the path the startup has taken over the past years. Velents focused on building enterprise AI solutions that prioritize cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and digital sovereignty. This focus has allowed them to expand operations into several Arab markets, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, Jordan, and Oman, and to provide practical AI applications within major government and financial institutions. This new membership is a strategic milestone for Velents. It allows them to integrate advanced Claude models with the cognitive systems they developed locally. This will boost their ability to offer specialized AI solutions that meet data retention requirements and regulatory controls within sensitive institutions, especially in the government and banking sectors across the Gulf and Middle East regions. This step also signifies the increasing role of Arab companies in the advanced technology industry. It shows a shift from simply consuming global technologies to actively contributing to their development and localization. This comes at a time when major institutions are rapidly adopting AI systems that can combine operational efficiency with regulatory compliance. Currently, Velents' solutions are operating within several government entities and sovereign ministries, as well as a major bank in Saudi Arabia. Here, generative models are used to manage daily operations and institutional documents, with a strong focus on achieving the highest levels of accuracy and security. Mohammed Jaber, Co-founder and CEO of Velents, stated that over the past three years, Velents has focused on building a reliable AI infrastructure. This infrastructure enables government and large institutions to run and fully localize their solutions within their digital boundaries. He noted that the company's entry into the Claude partner network offers its clients a blend of local expertise and global standards in enterprise AI. He added that this move provides institutions with an option that combines advanced technical performance with digital sovereignty requirements, which has become an increasing priority for government entities and major institutions in the region. Through this membership, Velents will gain a range of advanced technical benefits. These include relying on globally recognized best engineering practices, benefiting from direct training and development programs provided by Anthropic, and getting early access to new product updates and technologies. All of this will enhance the quality and speed of development for the solutions offered to clients. Abdulaziz Al-Muhaidib, Co-founder and COO of Velents, emphasized that joining the global network reflects the company's commitment since its inception to applying the highest standards of governance and technical security. He explained that the partnership with Anthropic opens the door for transferring advanced knowledge to the region and developing national talent capable of leading the next generation of AI applications. Regarding operational performance, the company's results show that its solutions have delivered tangible returns for institutions. They have helped reduce operational costs by up to 88%, accelerated the screening and processing of government recruitment applications by about 80%, and achieved 94% accuracy in analysis and screening operations. Furthermore, Velents processed over 6 million documents and records for a Gulf government entity. Velents closed a $1.5 million funding round last October, with participation from investors holding leadership positions in global companies, including Google and BCG. The company also launched 'Agent.sa,' which it describes as the first fully integrated Arabic AI employee dedicated to businesses in the region. The company's entry into the Claude partner network comes at a time when the AI industry is undergoing rapid transformations towards widespread enterprise adoption. Institutions are looking to move from limited experiments to integrating smart technologies into the core of their operational processes. In this context, Velents stands as a model for an Arab company that has successfully transformed its local expertise into a launchpad for global partnerships, becoming the first Arab representative within one of the world's most prominent AI ecosystems.
