Great news for Egyptian researchers! The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has extended the application period for the BRICS Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) programs. This move aims to boost international research collaboration and give Egyptian researchers more chances to join global scientific efforts, ultimately fostering innovation and sustainable development.

Egyptian Researchers: Don't Miss the Extended Deadline for BRICS Science & Tech Programs!

In line with the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's commitment to supporting researchers and innovators, boosting their participation in international research programs, and providing more time to complete joint research proposals, an additional period has been made available for applications to the BRICS Science, Technology, and Innovation (BRICS STI) programs.

 The Ministry clarified that the final deadline for submitting the Joint Application Form (JAF) via the BRICS AMS platform is June 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM Moscow time, accessible here.

 It also stated that the final deadline for submitting the Joint Application Form (JAF), the research proposal, and the required documents for the Egyptian principal investigator through the Authority's website is June 29, 2026, accessible here.

This initiative supports international research cooperation and enhances opportunities for researchers to actively participate in multilateral scientific initiatives, contributing to innovation and achieving sustainable development.

The BRICS Science, Technology, and Innovation programs are international initiatives aimed at fostering research collaboration among member states by supporting joint scientific projects and exchanging expertise and knowledge in priority areas. This contributes to developing the scientific research system and opening broader horizons for researchers to participate in projects with scientific and developmental impact.
