Orange Egypt continues to invest in youth skill development and entrepreneurship through its long-standing partnership with Enactus Egypt. This collaboration perfectly shows how important it is for the private sector and educational institutions to work together. Their goal is to prepare talented individuals who can turn innovative ideas into projects that create real economic and social impact, ultimately supporting an economy built on knowledge and innovation. Orange Egypt keeps supporting Egyptian youth and boosting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation within universities. They do this by sponsoring the Enactus Egypt competition for the twentieth year in a row! This makes it one of the longest continuous partnerships dedicated to supporting young entrepreneurs in Egypt. The extended partnership between Orange Egypt and Enactus Egypt truly reflects a shared vision: making a long-term investment in the potential of young people. It creates an environment that encourages them to innovate, experiment, and work together. It also gives them the chance to develop their ideas and transform them into viable projects that deliver economic, social, and environmental value. Over these two decades, this partnership has helped thousands of students in Egyptian universities. It has boosted their skills in areas like entrepreneurship, planning, project management, and innovation. Plus, it has made them more ready for the job market and cemented the idea of entrepreneurship that tackles real-world challenges with sustainable solutions. Orange Egypt is really committed to providing practical opportunities that help young people discover their abilities, grow their skills, and gain the experience needed to move from just having an idea to actually making it happen. This strengthens their capacity to build projects that can grow and make a noticeable difference in the community. This partnership also shows Orange Egypt's dedication to supporting national efforts and achieving the goals of Egypt Vision 2030. It does this by empowering youth, encouraging innovation, backing the green economy, and building a more competitive economy that thrives on knowledge and creativity. In this spirit, Maha Nagy, Executive Vice President of Public Relations, Media, and Corporate Communications at Orange Egypt, shared her thoughts: "For twenty years, our partnership with Enactus Egypt has set a lasting example of supporting university youth. It has given them a genuine chance to discover their talents, develop their skills, and work on ideas and projects that address real challenges in our society." She added: "Orange Egypt truly believes that supporting young people starts by giving them the opportunities, tools, and practical experience that help them move from an idea to making it a reality. That's why we continue to back initiatives that foster entrepreneurial thinking, encourage innovation and teamwork, and help young people build projects that can grow and create a lasting impact." She emphasized that this partnership's continuation for twenty years shows a deep, long-term commitment to youth. It also highlights the company's eagerness to expand learning, training, and entrepreneurship opportunities. This helps new generations gain confidence, experience, and the ability to compete and actively contribute to achieving development goals and Egypt Vision 2030. The 2026 Enactus Egypt National Competition saw a record number of participants, with 71 universities from all over Egypt taking part. Students competed with entrepreneurial projects they developed to tackle economic, social, and environmental challenges using practical and sustainable solutions. The competition ended with Mansoura University's team winning first place for their "ATHR" project. This amazing project focuses on recycling agricultural and textile waste, turning it into sustainable products that offer both economic and environmental value. The ATHR project cleverly uses rice straw, sugarcane waste, and textiles to create biodegradable cutlery, special bags for growing plants, multi-use fabric bags, and even medical gauze. This effort significantly helps reduce pollution and supports a circular economy. Thanks to this win, the Mansoura University team will proudly represent Egypt in the Enactus World Cup 2026 finals, which will be held in São Paulo, Brazil. They'll be competing against teams from 33 other countries! Orange Egypt confirms that its ongoing collaboration with Enactus Egypt, along with its other corporate social responsibility programs, is all part of a bigger strategy. This strategy aims to prepare a generation equipped with entrepreneurial and digital skills, ready to contribute to building a competitive and sustainable economy driven by innovation.
