Aboul Naga shared on his LinkedIn page that empathetic leadership isn't a sign of weakness at all. In fact, it's a super effective strategy, and the numbers prove it: It reduces employee turnover by 79%, boosts productivity by 85%, increases creativity by 87%, builds trust and competence by 88%, and leads to over 50% more employee engagement. He pointed out that the real secret is making employees feel valued. As he put it, "When people feel appreciated, they work from the heart, not just because they have to." Mohamed Aboul Naga, the Egyptian entrepreneur, emphasized again that empathy is definitely not weakness. A true leader, he says, is someone who listens to and genuinely understands their employees. He added, "You can achieve success and win without breaking anyone along the way. The strongest teams are those who *want* to succeed with you, not those who are forced to."
