The "ReMed" platform has emerged as a fresh digital initiative in the Egyptian market. It was launched by students from the Integrated Marketing Communications department at Al-Ahram Canadian University's Faculty of Mass Communication. ReMed is set to be Egypt's first all-in-one digital platform for buying, selling, and exchanging used medical devices and supplies. Its main goal is to cut down the cost of medical equipment and support healthcare professionals. The app is designed to help several key groups in the medical field. This includes students from practical faculties, especially dentistry and physical therapy, by offering expensive study tools and equipment at affordable prices. It also assists newly graduated doctors in setting up their private clinics by allowing them to buy high-quality, used medical devices and supplies at a lower cost. ReMed's community role also extends to providing home medical devices for patients at reasonable prices or through donations. This encourages the reuse of medical equipment and reduces waste, aligning with principles of sustainability and the circular economy, which are key goals of Egypt's Vision 2030. The platform offers specialized services like inspecting and maintaining medical devices before they are resold or traded. This ensures the equipment's quality and operational efficiency, making the app a trusted go-between for buyers and sellers. It also includes a rating system to build more trust among users. The project team includes Esraa Mohamed, Jannat Ashraf, Fayza Ibrahim, Monia Ehab, Fathy Sherine, and Ziad Tamer, all working under the supervision of Dr. Hala Rashad and Dr. Soha Mogahed.

As of now, there isn't an official independent website or direct download links for the app on Google Play or the App Store. The project is still in the process of becoming a startup, getting ready for its full commercial launch in the Egyptian market.
