He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and even holds a Master's in the same field. Plus, he brings over ten years of experience in designing prototypes, developing electromechanical products, and putting them to the test.

His passion for technology started way back during his university days when he got involved in marine robotics competitions. A truly pivotal moment in his career was in 2017 when he joined an Egyptian team in a robotics competition held at one of NASA's American laboratories. This incredible experience really solidified his belief that engineering innovation could be transformed into real products capable of solving problems and creating economic value.

Throughout his professional journey, Sharaf has been involved in developing over 25 devices and prototypes for academic and industrial clients in Egypt, Gulf countries, and Europe. He has a special knack for robotics, IoT, industrial automation, and medical devices.

The idea for MARS-Z was born from a very real need in the market. Many researchers, innovators, and brilliant minds have promising engineering concepts, but they often lack the ability to turn those ideas into ready-to-use devices and products.

It officially began its operations in 2022, after years of informal work, specializing in engineering research and development, smart device design, and electromechanical systems. Their main focus is on transforming those great ideas into products that can actually be manufactured and sold.

Instead, they use a unique model: a client or researcher brings them an idea or a problem, and MARS-Z then develops it and transforms it into a physical device ready for testing or production. In its early years, the company has already successfully completed a variety of projects that span from the medical sector to education, industry, and even entertainment.

Among their most notable projects is the development of a device to help children with special needs develop their skills, which has been implemented in about 100 specialized centers! Additionally, they developed a smart device to assist in detecting veins and making blood sample collection easier, which even underwent trials at El Shatby Children's Hospital.

The company also produced research devices and equipment for postgraduate students, developed interactive systems and games for institutions and banks, exported some of its products to Gulf markets, and carried out research and academic projects for educational entities in Oman.
