Ahmed Naji, the founder of NixAI, shared his professional journey. It all started with self-learning online and led him to establish a company specializing in Artificial Intelligence and launch a project aimed at building an Arabic community for education and training in this field, all in Arabic.
Naji explained in a Facebook post that his passion for digital learning began during his school years. He relied on online educational platforms to pick up various skills, including design, language learning, and software development, noting that most of the content he used was in English.
Studying Artificial Intelligence
He added that about three years ago, he decided to dedicate himself to self-studying Artificial Intelligence online. He invested his time and resources in learning and practical experimentation. This later led him to an opportunity to work as an AI applications trainer for the Dubai government through an Emirati company. He also took on the role of training businessman Ahmed Abu Hashima and his team on the uses of modern technology and AI.
Naji pointed out that these experiences fueled his ambition to spread technical knowledge in Arabic and help prepare an Arab generation capable of benefiting from AI technologies and digital transformation. He explained that he sought to turn this goal into a practical project by establishing NixAI in the United States with foreign investment support through MEmpire, led by Dr. Majed.
He mentioned that founding the company was a starting point for finding partners who shared the same vision: creating an Arab community specialized in teaching AI and modern technologies in Arabic. The goal is to broaden access to technical knowledge and reduce reliance on foreign content.
He added that this vision led him to collaborate with tech content creator Nagaty, whom he described as one of the most prominent supporters of spreading technical knowledge among youth in recent years. He noted that both parties, with support from Dr. Majed, launched a joint project: the Efham.ai platform and community, which specializes in providing training and educational content in Arabic.
Naji confirmed that work on preparing the project's training programs has already begun, with plans to reach hundreds of millions of Arabic speakers. He highlighted that the goal is to empower Arab youth to understand AI technologies and use them to build career opportunities and future projects, thereby strengthening the region's presence in the global digital economy.
Naji concluded by expressing his appreciation to the project's partners and supporters, hoping that Efham.ai will help prepare Arab generations to be more capable of dealing with modern technology and taking advantage of the opportunities offered by AI applications.
Foras.AI Platform
Foras.AI, a platform specializing in investment and innovation support, led by Egyptian entrepreneur Mohamed Abulnaga Nagaty, announced a strategic investment in Efham.ai. This platform is being developed by the startup NixAI, with the goal of establishing the first integrated AI educational community in Arabic for the Arab world.
This investment comes at a time when there's a growing knowledge gap related to the availability of AI content in Arabic. The new platform aims to reach over 400 million Arabic speakers across various markets in the region. It will do this through an educational model that simplifies technical knowledge and presents it in a way that aligns with the cultural and linguistic uniqueness of Arab users.
AI Education in Arabic
Efham.ai is set to launch by the end of the third quarter of 2026. It will feature a training program with over 100 educational lessons designed entirely in Egyptian colloquial Arabic. This approach aims to offer a learning experience that feels more relatable to Arab users compared to traditional or translated content.
The platform aims to go beyond the traditional course format by building a continuous knowledge community. This community will allow users to learn and apply AI technologies practically, focusing on creating an interactive learning environment that helps them gain the digital skills needed in today's job market.
