The National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) is focusing on two key specializations in the third and final phase of the third edition of its Cybersecurity SuperHero Academy. These specializations, Cloud Security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), directly address the evolving needs of the cybersecurity market. Registration is now open for specialized graduates who want to advance their professional expertise. The academy is sponsored by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and collaborates with the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), represented by the National Computer and Network Emergency Readiness Center (EG-CERT). This partnership aims to provide specialized training that builds practical skills in areas becoming increasingly vital as digital services and cloud infrastructure expand, and the need for robust cybersecurity risk management within organizations grows. "Cloud Security": Protecting Cloud Infrastructure from Threats The Cloud Security track aims to develop participants' abilities in securing cloud environments and services. This includes protecting data, systems, and digital infrastructure from cyber threats. Including this specialization in the academy's final phase highlights the importance of skills related to securing cloud environments. This is especially true as more digital services and operations move to cloud-based models, increasing the demand for professionals who can handle the security risks associated with these environments. The second track, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), focuses on the organizational side of cybersecurity. It introduces participants to the concepts and practices of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance. It also helps them develop frameworks that enable organizations to identify and manage cyber risks, enhancing protection and adherence to regulations. Combining these two tracks offers both a technical aspect, focused on securing cloud infrastructure, and an institutional aspect, concerned with risk management, governance, and compliance. This reflects the broad range of skills needed in the cybersecurity market, which goes beyond just direct technical aspects. Free Training for Specialized Graduates Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of the National Telecommunications Institute, stated that this new phase is part of the institute's efforts to boost specialized digital capabilities. It aims to provide advanced training paths that keep pace with the rapid developments in cybersecurity, thereby enhancing the readiness of Egyptian professionals to meet the demands of local, regional, and global job markets. The training program is offered free of charge. It focuses on developing participants' specialized skills and improving their readiness for job market demands through advanced training content in modern cybersecurity fields. Admission to each track is subject to specific prerequisites and registration priority. Participants also need to have a computer or laptop available for use during the training period. Registration for the third and final phase of the Cybersecurity SuperHero Academy began on August 16, 2026, and will continue until August 21, 2026. This gives specialized graduates a chance to develop their skills in more specialized cybersecurity tracks. The National Telecommunications Institute invites graduates with foundational knowledge in cybersecurity who wish to advance their expertise to take advantage of the available training tracks. You can find out more about the admission requirements and registration process on the NTI website.
