e-finance Partners with Rashid System to Boost Efficiency of Egypt's Government Companies

The Egyptian government is continuing to expand its reliance on digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence to boost the efficiency of public asset management. This is part of its broader digital transformation efforts and aims to develop better decision-making tools within state institutions. e-finance, a company specializing in financial facility operation technology, has signed a cooperation protocol with the State-Owned Enterprises Unit, which is part of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The agreement is to provide hosting and operational services for the digital infrastructure of the "Rashid" system. Rashid is the national platform responsible for inventorying and classifying state-owned companies or those in which the state has a stake. This partnership highlights e-finance's role as a national partner supporting the country's digital transformation. The protocol was signed by Eng. Hossam El-Gouly, CEO of e-finance, and Dr. Hashem El-Sayed, Assistant to the Prime Minister and CEO of the State-Owned Enterprises Unit. Under this agreement, e-finance will provide a secure and advanced digital infrastructure. This includes hosting services, secure storage spaces, and the necessary computing resources to run Rashid's artificial intelligence applications. This will ensure continuous operation, protect government data, and comply with the highest regulatory and international standards in information security and business continuity. Dr. Hashem El-Sayed stated that this collaboration with e-finance is a significant step towards providing a secure and capable digital infrastructure. It will support the efficient and reliable operation of the Rashid system, ensuring the protection of government data and leveraging AI applications to aid decision-making and enhance the management efficiency of the state-owned company portfolio. He added that this cooperation extends e-finance's role in enabling government entities to adopt reliable digital solutions. This is achieved through a highly dependable infrastructure that supports the operation of vital national applications and contributes to accelerating the state's digital transformation efforts and improving the efficiency of government services. The Rashid system relies on artificial intelligence technologies to analyze and monitor the financial and operational performance of state-owned companies or those in which the state has a stake. This enhances data quality, improves the efficiency of managing the company portfolio, and provides decision-makers with accurate and timely information. For his part, Eng. Hossam El-Gouly emphasized that signing this protocol reflects e-finance's ongoing commitment to providing a secure and scalable digital infrastructure to support national projects. He noted that the company continues to invest in the latest technologies and data centers to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and reliability, aligning with the state's requirements for operating strategic applications and protecting data. He further added that e-finance continues to support the state's vision of building an integrated digital economy. It does this by offering advanced technological solutions that contribute to developing government performance, enhancing governance, and improving the efficiency of asset and resource management, thereby supporting sustainable development goals and Egypt's digital vision.
