Egypt's Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW) has announced the activation of the "iScore" credit inquiry system. This is a big step towards deepening digital transformation within the sector, boosting data management efficiency, and improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
The system aims to enhance the accuracy of customer databases and update them regularly. This will help improve collection efficiency and operational effectiveness, especially for commercial and non-household activities, which are a crucial part of the revenue and services system.
This announcement came during a large video conference meeting led by Engineer Mostafa El-Shimy, the Acting Chairman of the company's Board of Directors. The meeting included Vice Chairmen, commercial sector leaders, and heads of subsidiary companies, all gathered to review the system's implementation mechanisms and activation plans.
During the meeting, they reviewed how to verify and update customer data. The goal is to ensure unified databases across all subsidiary companies, improve the quality of available information, support better decision-making, and boost operational performance efficiency.
Activating the "iScore" System
El-Shimy emphasized that activating the "iScore" system is a significant step in their digital transformation journey. He stressed the importance of quickly completing data updates with high accuracy and ensuring integration among different companies to get the most out of the system.
Boosting Operational Efficiency
He also pointed out that developing and improving the quality of databases directly contributes to higher operational efficiency and better services for citizens. Plus, it supports collection efficiency and strengthens the financial sustainability of the sector.
He explained that this direction is part of a broader plan to enhance governance and rely on modern digital solutions for managing vital utilities. This perfectly aligns with the state's push towards digital transformation and improving the efficiency of public services.
