Egypt's Ministry Invites Young Africans to Presidential AI & Robotics Competition – Apply by June 30!

Egypt's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has announced that applications are now open for the third edition of the African Presidential Youth Competition in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. This exciting competition is organized in collaboration with the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) and the Elevate AI Africa initiative.

This competition is one of the continent's leading initiatives, specifically designed for young Africans aged 18 to 35. It offers them a fantastic opportunity to use AI, robotics, and other emerging technologies to create effective solutions for Africa's most pressing development challenges.

This year's edition features 12 key focus areas, including vital fields like healthcare, education, agriculture, mining, climate, construction, architecture, FinTech, AI ethics, robot design, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and digital communication. There's also an open category for other innovative ideas!

The grand prize, known as the "Presidential Award," will be given to innovations that can make a tangible and lasting impact, supporting inclusive growth across the continent. Finalists will receive international recognition at the "Global AI for Good Summit," organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in July 2026.
