B.TECH Applied Technology School Expands Training, Adds Maintenance Program to Match Job Market Needs

B.TECH Applied Technology School is gearing up to boost its education system next academic year. They're doing this by setting up a brand-new vocational training center and adding a specialization in maintenance. Plus, they're expanding their teamwork with the Skills Development Bank. This whole effort aims to make technical education even better and directly connect it with what the job market really needs. Ahmed Yamani, who heads Training and Development at B.TECH, shared at a press conference that the school getting international accreditation is a huge step forward. It really shows how high-quality their educational programs are and how well they match global standards for technical and applied education. He added that this accreditation directly helps students find jobs after they graduate. It also builds trust in the school's graduates within the job market, both with companies and industrial organizations, helping them fit into the workplace much faster. He also explained that international accreditation helps create a culture of constant improvement at the school. They regularly review and update their courses, training methods, and evaluations to keep up with the fast-changing demands of the job market. Yamani stressed that this move perfectly aligns with Egypt's vision to prepare skilled technical and technological professionals. These professionals will be ready to support economic and industrial development plans and boost the competitiveness of Egyptian talent in both local and regional markets. Regarding the expansion plan, he mentioned that setting up the vocational training center aims to offer specialized practical programs. These programs will focus on building hands-on skills and technical know-how, making students more job-ready and increasing their chances of employment after graduation. He also clarified that adding the maintenance specialization is a direct response to market needs. There's a growing demand for skilled technical staff in maintenance, after-sales services, and various industrial activities. He added that working with the Skills Development Bank is part of the school's plan to grow partnerships that support training. The goal is to prepare students with a full set of skills, including technical, personal, and professional abilities. He pointed out that B.TECH Applied Technology School is a leading example in developing technical education. It was founded in 2020 as a partnership between the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and B.TECH for Trade and Distribution. He highlighted that it's the first school in Egypt and the Middle East to specialize in retail trade education. This shows a new approach that connects technical education with modern economic sectors and the evolving needs of the job market. He emphasized that the school's vision is all about achieving high educational quality that meets both local and international standards. They also aim to provide a learning environment that encourages creativity and boosts community involvement in supporting education. He added that the main goal is to graduate a generation of students who have modern professional skills, strong ethical values, a sense of national belonging, and the ability to keep up with the changing demands of the job market. He explained that the school's strategic goals include developing problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-reliance. They also prepare students to directly enter the job market after graduation. He noted the school's focus on extracurricular and school activities, recognizing their role in building students' personalities and developing leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. He clarified that the school's operational system is built on seven key pillars: improving infrastructure, updating curricula and teaching methods, enhancing teacher efficiency, focusing on students, improving the learning environment, and continuous evaluation and development. He pointed out that over the past few years, the school has achieved several milestones. Most notably, they earned international accreditation and ranked first nationwide, which really shows the strength of their educational and administrative system. They've also successfully built partnerships with several organizations, including Banque Misr, iSchool Foundation, and the Skills Development Bank. These partnerships aim to support the educational process and provide students with broader training and qualification opportunities.
