The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ Egypt) and implemented by Plug and Play Egypt, has announced the expansion of its 'Venture Ready' initiative to include Alexandria Governorate. This exciting move aims to support entrepreneurs, startup owners, and innovators across Egypt, empowering them to transform their promising ideas into scalable and growth-ready projects. The initiative is designed to boost startups' readiness for market entry and attract investments. It offers a comprehensive support system that includes specialized mentorship, business model development, and capacity building. Additionally, it provides valuable opportunities for networking with industry experts and partners within the entrepreneurship ecosystem. This expansion into Alexandria is part of a broader effort to extend innovation and entrepreneurship support beyond Cairo. It aims to open new pathways for founders in other governorates, thereby strengthening the startup environment and enhancing technology's role in the Egyptian economy. Furthermore, the initiative offers participants practical opportunities to develop their business strategies, improve their products and solutions, and connect with suitable growth opportunities. This helps startups transition from the idea or early-growth stages to more mature phases, making them ready for expansion and market competition.
