This effort is clearly seen as Jameel Advanced Technology's initiative has just selected 10 startups to advance to the next phase of its venture-building program. These companies were chosen after a competitive semi-final round where participating teams showcased research-based innovations. Their goal is to tackle strategic challenges in vital sectors like healthcare, energy, environmental sustainability, and industrial technologies. The venture-building program aims to equip startup founders with the essential skills to develop scalable business models. It also provides mentorship and commercial support to help them transform advanced technologies into market-ready products and solutions. The next phase of the venture-building program includes 10 startups working in advanced technology fields. These are: Lisan, Pixconvey, Gees Health, Digital Petroleum, Linus Bio MENA, Hakeem, Flow Guard, SMI Membranes, True Nexus, and Pure Advance. The solutions from these selected companies cover a wide range of advanced technology areas, including healthcare, industrial technologies, energy, biotechnology, and environmental innovations. This really shows the diverse applications that research-based companies can create. During the semi-final stage, the founders presented prototypes and technologies developed through research. They focused on finding solutions to real-world challenges and showcased the potential to turn these innovations into competitive commercial products. This program highlights a growing trend to support deep tech startups by connecting scientific research outcomes with the commercial sector. This approach helps build high-value technology companies and boosts the role of innovation across various economic sectors.
