iQtech Secures First Investment Round to Boost Medical Simulation in Qatar and MENA

iQtech, a Qatar-based company specializing in advanced medical simulation and extended reality technologies, has successfully closed its first investment round. This marks a significant turning point for the company, transforming it from its founding stage in 2025 into a structured and financially supported entity.

The round saw participation from Celexi, a leading European company in computational assessments, and Uniro, a deep-tech company operating between Italy and Qatar. This collaboration provides iQtech with both crucial funding and advanced technical expertise in assessment and automation.

This capital injection aims to accelerate the development of the EsculapioVR platform, an AI-powered medical training and assessment platform. EsculapioVR integrates realistic virtual reality simulation with AI-based evaluation, with the goal of transforming traditional medical education and improving practical performance.

The company plans to use this investment to strengthen its infrastructure and expand its services across Qatar and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This move will solidify its position as a key player in medical education technologies.

The iQtech platform was developed within the environment of Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), where the center's guidance and support played a fundamental role in the success of this investment round. The involvement of Celexi and Uniro represents a strategic addition, bringing valuable technical expertise and capabilities in assessment and automation.

Founded in Doha in 2025, the company focuses on bridging the gap between medical education and operational excellence. It achieves this by creating precise, AI-enhanced training platforms that cater to the needs of medical, civilian, and military sectors alike.
