Intilaq: Powering Digital Transformation with Integrated Tech Solutions

Intilaq for Communications and Information Technology is an advanced tech company fully owned by Mansoura University. It's the natural evolution of the Communications and Information Technology Center, which was established as a special unit by a Supreme Council of Universities decision on February 23, 1998. This made it one of the first institutional models to support digital transformation within Egyptian universities. For over 24 years, the Center played a pivotal role in developing communication network infrastructure and data centers. It also designed and developed digital systems and websites, helping transform Mansoura University into a leading "smart university" that relies on digital solutions to manage its educational, medical, and administrative operations. Since its inception, the Center adopted a proactive vision for the future of technology. As early as the 1990s, it recognized the importance of shifting towards internet-based information systems, at a time when most institutions still relied on traditional desktop applications. This early foresight gave the Center a clear competitive advantage and allowed it to build extensive expertise in developing digital systems using the latest technical concepts. This wealth of experience led to the development of over 35 electronic administrative information systems. These systems became a fundamental pillar in supporting the digital transformation of numerous governmental and private institutions, both inside and outside Egypt. Mansoura University, in particular, heavily relies on these systems to manage its educational and medical sectors and to provide integrated digital services to students, faculty members, and staff. To expand and maximize the benefit from this expertise, the Center was transformed into "Intilaq for Communications and Information Technology" company. This new structure allows it to operate with a more flexible business model, enabling it to broaden its reach in providing technical services to various institutions. Intilaq continues to develop existing systems, offer technical support, and design new digital solutions to meet the demands of rapid digital transformation. Intilaq aims to achieve several strategic goals. Chief among them is facilitating a complete shift from traditional to digital systems within institutions. It also strives to provide smart solutions based on its cumulative experience, which helps improve management efficiency and enhance service quality. Furthermore, Intilaq supports building an integrated digital society that relies on technology in all aspects of life. Backed by this strong technical legacy and forward-looking vision, Intilaq continues to solidify its position as a key player in supporting digital transformation in Egypt. It also works to boost institutions' readiness to keep pace with the requirements of the digital economy.
