Hydrovest Technology for Trading and Contracting LLC, a Doha-based company specializing in climate-smart agricultural solutions and high-value crops, has secured a new investment of QAR 1 million. This exciting move aims to accelerate production expansion, launch innovative food products, and boost its regional presence, particularly in the UAE market. This funding is part of a comprehensive expansion plan. It includes increasing the production capacity for lettuce chips, opening a new factory, and introducing advanced production lines. The company also plans to cultivate high-quality Japanese cantaloupe, with operations set to begin in Dubai during the fourth quarter of 2026. **Accelerating Commercial Production and Building Manufacturing Capabilities** The company explained that the new funding will be directed towards speeding up large-scale commercial production and completing the setup of its new factory in the Barakat Al Awamer area, located within Logistics Zone (A) in Al Wakra. Additionally, it will expand collaborations in research and development and support international expansion plans, especially in the UAE. Jissim Francis Adaya, CEO of Hydrovest Technology, stated that this investment marks a pivotal turning point for the company. He explained, "Thanks to this funding, we are moving into large-scale commercial production, focusing on delivering high-quality food products based on data-driven and technology-based agricultural methods." **Diversifying Products and Maximizing Added Value** Hydrovest Technology is well-known for producing lettuce chips in the Qatari market. However, it's now on the verge of a significant expansion in its product portfolio.
