HPE has unveiled a new set of integrated security innovations designed to help businesses confidently adopt AI. These solutions aim to strengthen AI governance, protect networks, automate security processes, and defend cloud and quantum computing against evolving cyber threats.

HPE Launches Integrated Security Innovations for Faster, Safer AI Adoption

HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) has announced a new suite of security innovations. These are designed to help organizations expand their distributed operations, reduce cyber risks, and ensure integrated governance, especially as businesses rapidly adopt artificial intelligence (AI).

David Hughes, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Network Security Solutions at HPE, explained that the AI era demands security be integrated into the technology infrastructure, not treated as a separate component. He noted that unifying security policies across distributed environments empowers organizations to confidently embrace AI while maintaining performance and flexibility.

Integrated Network Security

The HPE Juniper Networking SRX400 series forms the backbone of this integrated security approach. It offers unified protection from the core to the network edge, boasting high performance and easy management. This ensures effective security for distributed locations like retail stores, clinics, and universities, preventing them from becoming weak points in an organization's overall security system.

Enterprise Management and Control

AI governance is undergoing a significant transformation thanks to recent updates that offer advanced capabilities for managing technology use efficiently and securely. Key among these are visibility and access control, which allow organizations to monitor application usage and enforce restrictions on high-risk sites, thereby enhancing the protection of sensitive data.

The framework also includes pre-testing commands and files to reduce the risk of data loss and ensure compliance with security standards.

A centralized, identity-based protection system applies policies uniformly across physical, virtual, and cloud environments, boosting consistency and rapid response capabilities.

Furthermore, organizations are leveraging AI-powered operations to automate complex security management tasks and improve the quality of immediate customer support. This helps increase performance efficiency and enhance system reliability.

HPE's capabilities also extend to protecting critical workloads and enabling disaster and cyberattack recovery with HPE Zerto solutions, supporting virtual and cloud computing. They also provide confidential computing through HPE Morpheus to ensure data protection during use, all while complying with sovereign requirements and regulatory laws.

HPE is also preparing for the challenges of quantum computing by integrating Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) into the Junos Evolved operating system, with plans to extend it to the Junos system by summer 2026. This supports NIST standards and enhances the readiness of products like HPE ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers.

Finally, HPE is expanding the capabilities of HPE Threat Labs to support organizations in confronting cyber threats. This involves providing immediate insights, transforming threat intelligence into actionable steps, and fostering a shift towards a self-operating, zero-trust security architecture.
