Eng. Raafat Hendy, Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, witnessed the signing ceremony for a license between the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and Hassan Allam for Digital Infrastructure and Data Center Solutions. This license allows the company to build and operate data centers and offer cloud computing services. This move reflects the state's direction towards strengthening digital infrastructure and supporting the shift to a data-driven economy. Under this license, Hassan Allam for Digital Infrastructure and Data Center Solutions plans to inject an initial investment of approximately $400 million to establish an advanced data center built to the highest international standards. The company also has plans for expansion and increasing investments in the coming years, responding to the growing demand for data hosting and cloud computing services from government entities, the financial sector, and local and international companies. The license was signed by Eng. Mohamed Shamroukh, CEO of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority, and Ms. Dalia Wahba, Board Member of Hassan Allam for Digital Infrastructure and Data Center Solutions. The ceremony was attended by Eng. Amr Allam, CEO of Hassan Allam Holding, Eng. Amr Abbas, Vice President of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority for Regulation and Market Governance, and Mr. Karim Bishara, Managing Partner at A15, along with several leaders from the Ministry of Communications, the NTRA, and Hassan Allam.
