Fawry Gears Up for Big Expansion: Entering Saudi Arabia and Launching New Ventures

Ashraf Sabry, the founder and CEO of Fawry, announced that the company has started taking practical steps to enter the Saudi market. They are doing this by applying for the necessary licenses to offer several of their services within the Kingdom. Sabry explained that Fawry uses a well-thought-out approach for its international expansion plans. He stressed that deciding to enter any new market depends on finding real growth opportunities and having a clear competitive advantage, not just expanding geographically, according to CNN Business Arabic. He added that the company's strategy focuses on choosing markets where Fawry can truly add value and maintain a sustainable competitive edge, which supports its regional growth plans. The founder and CEO of Fawry also revealed that the company plans to start operating two new companies next year: one for micro-insurance and another for healthcare management (TPA), after getting the required approvals to set them up. He mentioned that Fawry is also actively looking into several acquisition opportunities. These acquisitions could either boost their current activities or open up new areas for growth. Sabry emphasized that Fawry's acquisition strategy, which they've been using for years, has helped them build comprehensive solutions in various sectors, including medical services and human resources systems.
