In a move to expand opportunities for Egyptian startups to reach global investors, Exits MENA announced its strategic partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF). Egypt is set to host the third edition of this festival in November 2026. This partnership is all about supporting the entrepreneurship ecosystem and connecting Egyptian startups with international investors and markets. The Global Entrepreneurship Festival is the biggest international event focused on entrepreneurship. It's dedicated to boosting innovation, trade, and investment, while also supporting the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Since it started, the festival has been instrumental in empowering entrepreneurs, building cross-border partnerships, and creating investment opportunities worldwide. Egypt is hosting the third edition of the festival after successful runs in Nigeria and Ghana, a step that really strengthens Cairo's position on the global entrepreneurship map. The GEF 2026 is expected to bring together over 10,000 entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders from more than 70 countries. It will be held under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, and in partnership with the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA). Globally, the festival is led by Dr. Sami Smart Francis, while in Egypt, it's chaired by Baher Mounir Ghabour, with Ambassador Nabila Makram also participating. The festival events are scheduled from November 6th to 8th, 2026, at the JW Marriott Cairo in New Cairo. Through this partnership, Exits MENA will connect its community of entrepreneurs and startups with global investors. They'll do this through special deal-making sessions, business matching programs, and high-level networking events. This will really help Egyptian companies expand and boost the local entrepreneurship ecosystem on the international stage.
