Egypt Highlights Its Work on Responsible AI at OECD Africa Meeting in Nairobi

Egypt, represented by its Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, is joining a workshop titled "African AI Priorities and Experiences: Building an AI Policy Toolkit." The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is organizing this event on March 10-11 in Nairobi, Kenya's capital. Representatives from various African governments and AI experts are also attending. The workshop is hosted by Kenya's Ministry of Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy, with support from the UK government and the French Development Agency. This is all part of a bigger international effort to create more efficient and flexible policies for regulating AI use across the African continent.
