As part of expanding the applied technology school system, Egypt's Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced that studies will begin at the Ezz Steel Applied Technology Schools starting from the 2026/2027 academic year. This exciting initiative is a collaboration with the Italian company Danieli, which specializes in manufacturing and supplying equipment and technology for the iron and steel industry. These seven schools will be spread across three governorates: Menoufia, Suez, and Alexandria. This move is part of the Ministry's plan to open even more applied technology schools in the upcoming academic year. It involves working hand-in-hand with the private sector and forming international partnerships. The main goal is to prepare skilled technical professionals who have the necessary technological and practical skills in various fields, all according to the latest global standards. This will help meet the demands of both local and international job markets. These new schools will focus on two key areas: Mechatronics and the Steel Industry. Specifically, there will be two schools in Menoufia governorate: El Sadat and Menouf. In Suez governorate, you'll find El Salam, El Mostakbal, and 24 October schools. Additionally, Alexandria governorate will host El Wardian and Moharram Bek schools. The Ezz Steel Applied Technology Schools will use a unique educational system that beautifully combines academic study with hands-on practical training in a real industrial setting. This is all part of a fantastic partnership between the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, Ezz Steel, and the Italian company Danieli, a true leader in manufacturing and supplying equipment and technology for the iron and steel industry. This model aims to qualify students using the very latest technical education systems and provide them with international certificates.
