Engineer Raafat Hendy, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, has shared the ministry's exciting goals to speed up digital transformation and boost the sector's contribution to the national economy. These goals include increasing the number of digital government services to about 450 by 2030, growing outsourcing service exports to $8 billion, expanding mobile phone manufacturing, developing digital infrastructure, and enhancing human capabilities. This announcement came during the Minister's meeting with members of the Digital Transformation Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo. Both sides reviewed the upcoming priorities for the communications and information technology sector and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation with the private sector to create a more attractive investment environment for both local and foreign investments.
