The National Computer and Network Emergency Readiness Center (EG-CERT) announced it's organizing the Third National Cyber Drill. Many Egyptian government bodies and entities will participate on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 10 AM to 3 PM. This drill aims to boost the cybersecurity readiness of government agencies and critical information infrastructure entities. It will strengthen their ability to counter cyber threats and attacks by simulating various cyberattack scenarios. This allows for measuring how prepared participating government sectors are to handle and efficiently respond to cyber incidents. Ultimately, the drill is part of EG-CERT's ongoing efforts to enhance cybersecurity and support state institutions in facing digital threats. This helps protect information infrastructure and improves the efficiency of responding to electronic incidents.
