EFE-Egypt and Cognify Partner to Prepare Youth and People of Determination for the Job Market

Education for Employment-Egypt (EFE-Egypt) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cognify. The goal is to boost cooperation between both parties, creating pathways that connect skills with job opportunities. A key focus is on preparing youth and people of determination, and integrating them into the workforce. This partnership is proudly supported by the Almaza Employment and Training Center, in collaboration with City Centre Almaza. Together, they will provide training and qualification programs that meet the demands of today's job market. The initiative also aims to support the inclusion of people with disabilities, empowering them to access sustainable job opportunities. Engineer Abdel Hamid El Kashef, Operations and Projects Manager at EFE-Egypt, and Ahmed El Mallahy, CEO of Cognify, signed the MoU. Ms. Yasmine El Sherbiny, Partnerships Manager at Cognify, was also present during the signing. Ahmed El Mallahy, CEO of Cognify, shared that this partnership is a practical step to turn the concept of inclusion into a tangible reality. He explained that it will build bridges connecting skills, job opportunities, and sustainable career paths for youth and people of determination. He also highlighted that collaboration among different organizations helps achieve a real and lasting impact. EFE-Egypt is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing training, employment services, and professional skill development for young people. They particularly focus on new graduates and those entering the job market for the first time. Since 2008, EFE-Egypt has trained over 23,000 participants, achieving an impressive 80% employment rate. Their job retention rate stands at 78%, and women make up about 54% of all beneficiaries. Cognify is a startup that specializes in developing educational solutions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). They do this by offering specialized educational programs, training teachers, and providing psychological support within schools. Additionally, Cognify works to promote inclusive learning environments across Egypt and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
