Edhafa Group is set to lead the Egyptian investment scene in 2026 with its ambitious plan to support startups. This plan includes direct investments and comprehensive support programs, focusing specifically on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Tech sectors. Edhafa announced it will inject $10 million in investments this year. Their role isn't just about providing money; it also includes operational and advisory support to help startups grow, expand strategically, and secure important investment deals. The Group's participation in the Ai Everything Summit highlighted its commitment to supporting innovation. Six startups from its portfolio took part: T60, Wa'eya, Ebdaa, Business Lobby, Media for AI, and Startup Sync. Eng. Essam Ali, CEO of Edhafa Group and Startup Sync, stated that the goal of their participation was to empower startups to grow, secure new investments, and expand into regional markets. He added that Media for AI successfully closed several deals during the event, while other companies presented innovative activities that boosted their presence in both local and regional markets. Edhafa has outlined two main plans for the current year. First, the Deep Tech sector, which has started to recover and grow after last year's challenges. Second, the PropTech sector, where strategic partnerships have been signed in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait with partners like Prime Egypt and Coldwell Banker. They expect that next week will see the start of screening for companies applying within these sectors, aiming to select the best and most viable investment opportunities for growth and expansion.
