Edafa Venture Expands AI Investments in Egypt with Kuadra and IRRI Vision Acquisitions

Edafa Venture announced its acquisition of two Egyptian startups specializing in artificial intelligence within the construction and healthcare sectors. These six-figure deals took place during the AI Everything Middle East & Africa – Egypt exhibition, organized by GITEX Global in Cairo on February 11-12, 2026, as part of a notable investment wave at the event. This acquisition reflects Edafa Venture's commitment to strengthening its presence in the technology and AI market, and to building an investment ecosystem aimed at supporting promising startups and enabling their regional expansion. This will help accelerate the adoption of AI solutions in vital sectors. The acquisition deals included two startups: Kuadra, a company focused on construction technology, and IRRI Vision, a company working in health technology. Kuadra uses AI technologies to redefine how major construction projects are planned, managed, and executed, through smart, interconnected operating systems that boost efficiency and improve operational management. Meanwhile, IRRI Vision is an Egyptian platform specializing in health technology solutions, offering AI-powered tools to help doctors and healthcare providers diagnose with greater accuracy and speed. This, in turn, improves the quality of treatment services and enhances patient outcomes. Essam Ali, CEO of Edafa Venture, stated that these developments confirm Egypt has become an attractive environment for AI investment.
