Egypt Post has announced the launch of a new version of its 'Easy Pay' application, developed in collaboration with e finance. This move is part of Egypt Post's plan to enhance its digital financial services. The app offers a unified platform, allowing customers to perform a wide range of financial transactions electronically, leveraging the latest digital technologies. This initiative strongly supports the nation's efforts to boost financial inclusion and accelerate digital transformation. **A Complete Overhaul for User Experience and Security** Dalia El-Baz, Chairperson of Egypt Post, emphasized that launching this upgraded app is a key part of Egypt Post's strategy. The goal is to provide innovative digital financial solutions that meet customer needs and keep pace with technological advancements in the financial services sector. She explained that the app underwent a comprehensive development process. This included improving the user interface and boosting performance efficiency, ensuring quick transaction execution and easy access to services. Additionally, the latest cybersecurity standards were implemented to protect customer data and guarantee the confidentiality of their financial transactions. **Integrated Financial Services and Flexible Account Management** El-Baz also noted that the app allows users to register with any card issued by Egypt Post, whether Visa or Meeza cards. Customers can add multiple cards to the same account or unlink any card at any time, giving them greater flexibility in managing their cards. The app also makes it easier to top up cards and supports the use of electronic payment methods. She added that the app provides a complete system for financial transfers. This includes transfers between a customer's own accounts, or to other Egypt Post customer accounts and cards, enabling fast and secure transfers. **Paying Bills and Sending Remittances via National ID** Dalia El-Baz further clarified that the app also offers a wide array of account management services. These include instant inquiries about account and card balances, viewing account statements, temporarily blocking cards if lost or stolen, changing passwords, modifying PINs, and self-unregistering or deleting a user. She added that the app enables many electronic payments, such as paying electricity bills, university fees, and CNE payments. Moreover, it allows sending financial remittances using the beneficiary's National ID number, which can then be collected from any post office nationwide. The app also offers a service to top up Easy Pay cards with cash at all post offices. El-Baz confirmed that the new version of the 'Easy Pay' app is now available for download on both the App Store and Google Play. This allows customers to benefit from the new services through a more advanced and secure user experience, reflecting Egypt Post's commitment to developing its digital services and fostering innovation in the financial sector.
