This forum will be held as part of the exhibition's activities from July 27 to 30, 2026, at the Benghazi International Conferences and Exhibitions Center. It will bring together decision-makers, experts, investors, and representatives from technology and telecommunications companies. The forum is officially sponsored by the Roya Foundation for Digital Economic Development and Strategic Studies, with the Central Bank of Libya providing main honorary sponsorship. Its goal is to discuss digital transformation and digital economy issues, boost cooperation between the public and private sectors, and support investment in the technology sector. The forum's management emphasized that this event aims to turn visions and strategies into actual projects and investment opportunities. It plans to achieve this by building partnerships and working groups that connect government institutions, international companies, universities, and investors, ultimately supporting the development of Libya's digital infrastructure. The forum will cover eight main topics. These include the digital economy and digital banking, e-government and digital transformation, cybersecurity and information security, artificial intelligence and data analysis, digital infrastructure, communication networks and smart cities, oil technology and digital transformation in the energy sector, sustainable development and strategic studies, and finally, startups and entrepreneurship. Focusing on the digital economy, topics will include e-commerce, financial technologies (FinTech), and digital banking services. The e-government section will concentrate on improving digital government services, data governance, and making government performance more efficient. The forum will also discuss the latest developments in cybersecurity, protecting digital infrastructure, and sovereign data. Additionally, it will explore applications of artificial intelligence and big data analysis across government, financial, and telecommunications sectors. Dedicated sessions will be held to discuss the development of communication networks, 5G technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, and smart cities. There will also be discussions on digital transformation in the oil and energy sector, covering AI applications, automation, and cybersecurity in this field. Furthermore, the forum will address sustainable development issues, digital policy formulation, skill development, and measuring the economic impact of digital transformation. It will also focus on supporting startups through incubators and accelerators, promoting venture capital, and connecting entrepreneurs with regional and international markets. The forum's management has invited representatives from government agencies, technology and telecommunications companies, financial institutions, investors, and entrepreneurs to participate in the forum's activities and contribute to discussions about the future of Libya's digital economy and technological transformation. The Digital Libya Exhibition and Forum for Digital Economy, Communications, and Technology will take place from July 27 to 30, 2026, at the Benghazi International Conferences and Exhibitions Center.
