Delphioz, a London-registered platform that connects investors with startups, has announced the launch of its closed beta waitlist. They're also kicking off the Middle East and Africa's first-ever algorithmically curated virtual demo day, set for May 20, 2026. This move aims to totally rethink how investment opportunities are found and how founders connect with investors, all powered by artificial intelligence and data analysis. This platform launch comes at a time when the venture capital scene in the Middle East and North Africa is seeing incredible growth. Investments there jumped by 74% in 2025, reaching a whopping $3.8 billion. Meanwhile, Africa has had its strongest funding performance since 2022, with $4.1 billion in investments. But even with all this activity, getting access to funding is still really uneven. For instance, pre-seed investments in Africa make up only about 1.5% of total venture capital, which is much lower than the 4% to 6% seen in the United States. Plus, just four countries in Africa grab over 82% of the continent's venture capital flow.
