Ahmed Essam Saudi, the Managing Director and CEO of TRU consumer finance app, announced that the company achieved strong operational performance during the first half of 2026. This continues to solidify its position in the Egyptian consumer finance market, all in less than 17 months since it started operations. Saudi explained that the total value of sales made through the company's platform exceeded 2.3 billion EGP during the first six months of this year. At the same time, TRU attracted over 50,000 new customers and completed more than 120,000 transactions. This really shows how quickly the company's business is growing and how its user base is expanding.
Strong Growth in Digital Transactions and Increased Customer Loyalty
He also pointed out that the company recorded a customer return rate of 40%. This highlights the high levels of customer satisfaction and their increasing reliance on the finance services TRU offers. He noted a 200% growth in the number of transactions completed through digital channels compared to the same period last year, which is a clear sign of the accelerating shift towards digital financial services. Saudi added that TRU managed to capture a 4.5% market share in the consumer finance market in less than 17 months since starting its operations. The company also doubled various key performance indicators compared to the first half of 2025, all while continuing to achieve positive financial results that support its expansion plans.3 New Products Coming in the Second Half of the Year
The CEO revealed that the company is preparing to launch three new products during the second half of 2026.
