Meet the 5 Egyptian Tech Companies Making Waves at GITEX Berlin 2026

Civil society organizations, represented by the Chamber of Information Technology and Communications Industry, the ETISAL Association, and the General Division for Digital Economy and Technology, announced their official participation in GITEX Berlin 2026. This event is one of the world's largest technology exhibitions, and it was recently held in the German capital, Berlin, featuring five prominent Egyptian companies from the technology sector. This participation was a result of a partnership and collaboration between tech-focused civil society organizations, supported by relevant government bodies, most notably the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). The aim was to boost the presence of Egyptian technology on the global stage, open new markets for local companies in Europe, and create opportunities for building investment and commercial partnerships with major international companies, all while staying updated on the latest technological developments and trends. The Egyptian delegation included the following companies: MTS Enterprise, SIGMA EMEA, TechnoWelle, and INZOX LLC. Also present was DoctorVoice, a company under the BackBoard Technology platform, which qualified for the finals of the 'Supernova' competition held alongside GITEX Europe Berlin 2026. This made DoctorVoice the only Egyptian company to reach the final stage of the competition, thanks to its AI-powered and voice messaging solutions designed to help patients get remote medical consultations quickly and easily. The Egyptian participation aimed to showcase the latest technological solutions and innovations in artificial intelligence, smart software, and cybersecurity. It also sought to enhance opportunities for Egyptian companies to enter European markets and expand their network of partnerships with international investors and companies. Civil society organizations emphasized that participating in GITEX Berlin 2026 is a pivotal step to support the Egyptian technology sector and boost the growth of its technology exports. They noted that this collaboration reflects the strong integration among sector institutions and helps solidify Egypt's position as a regional innovation hub, supporting promising Egyptian companies in expanding into international markets and promoting their solutions, products, and services on a wider scale.
